Danielle Conforti has worked for several years as a Batterer’s Intervention Therapist at Synergy Services, in addition to being a contracted therapist with Westport Counseling Associates for the last year and a half. She has worked with a number of populations including: survivors of domestic violence, domestic violence offenders, LGBTQIA+ individuals, homeless youth, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in addition to individuals with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, substance abuse disorders, and attachment disorders, among others.
Mrs. Conforti is specifically trained in the following modalities:
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Batterer’s Intervention/EMERGE
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)
Mrs. Conforti possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is also a certified telehealth clinician, which has made services easier to access for a number of clients. Throughout her time as a clinician, she has worked to help individuals overcome their traumatic experiences by teaching them valuable coping skills, building their self-worth, providing psycho-education, and helping them to reach their therapeutic goals.
